reframe 2.0! and, look for the helpers
Reframe 2.0 is increasingly becoming a reality! This is going to be a lot, but I firmly believe it’s all good things.
One reason I know I just need to keep at it is all the people who continue to say “I love what you’re doing” and “it’s so important” and I know that those people see and understand the need. Usually they are people who struggle with addiction too, or someone close to them does, so they have a personal investment in the success of Reframe and spaces like it. So I just have to keep at it, be patient.
I know I’ve written before about the local community support, all the people giving what they can (space, time, energy, sometimes money) to see Reframe succeed. And it’s happening again- a local legend wants to play a show and already picked a date for the calendar. We got off the phone and he texted two minutes later with a day and a time. I love that- it’s when people promise and demonstrate that immediate follow through- nothing ambiguous about this.
